Lesson 1: Feeding the Poor

In Matthew Jesus speaks about service to others and how important it is to God.  God wants us to treat others just as we would treat Him if we saw that He was in need.  Now we know that will never happen but it is a great way to teach children just how important it is to God.  When we take care of the needs of others it makes God smile.  See this project for a way of making God smile.

Lesson One is an easy one to do with children, maybe on a family night or a lesson to talk about before they say their prayers at night.  This would even make a great Children's Church lesson on Missions.
